THE TRUTH OF THE MYSTERY.
by Meritxell, Ada and Anna.
In a small village far from here there lived a family next to a field. In the family there was a father, 2 sons and a daughter. The mother died five years ago.
One winters day the daughter, called Molly, was looking for fruits in the forest.
She heard a beautiful song. She recognized it. It came from an abandoned house and she decided to go in.
She went upstairs and she saw a broken mirror. It was the only thing left in the house.
The music was the same as her mother used to sing when Molly was young.
She looked in the mirror, and a silhouette appeared, it was Molly’s mother when she was young.
Molly recognized her because there was a photo of her on her father’s desk. She left running because it was very scared and she was very confused.
She arrived home and she told her brother everything, at first Jason didn’t believe Molly but then he wanted to check the mystery and he went to the haunted house.
He didn’t heard the song but he saw the mirror and there mother appeared again, but she wasn’t young, she was a teenager.
Molly and Jason went to talk to their father (John) and he told them: he had lived in this house with their mother Sarah. But she had died there.
They moved to the other house because John always remembered Sarah.
Her father never told the truth about the death of Sarah because he didn’t want them to remember the horrible past.
The truth was: Sarah was ill and one day she wanted to kill herself but John stopped her because he loved Sarah a lot, but two weeks later some people found Sarah in the forest.
Sarah’s brother had killed her because he didn’t want her to suffer.
Twenty years later Molly decided to commit suicide because she always missed her mother and she wanted to see her again.
